My father bought this truck new in 67′ special order for the paint and mirrors. It was used for many things like camping, but mainly as a ranch truck. He kept it perfect as well as he could, garaged its whole life. I asked him never to sell it, as I would carry it on as a family heirloom. He finally called me one day and told me to come and get it. I took the first flight out and went home to bring the Ol OX back to California. It has under gone many phases of restoration. One such being that of my late son’s senior project, to present as seen in the pictures. The original motor was pretty tired so I decided to do the extreme and fit a Cummins diesel motor and trans into the motor compartment to my surprise seemed to “just fall in to place”. It has turned out to be just a wonderful daily driver that turns heads on the street and at the car shows. As with all my projects it is always ongoing, and with much help from LMC TRUCK it’s starting to look like it just rolled off the show room floor. There are not too many 2wd cummins conversions out there of the Ford variety because of the modifications that are needed to make it work, but I have figured out the formula to make the transformation a snap. In my Fathers and my Sons memory, this Ford truck will remain in the family to be passed down thru the generations. Thanks for all the great resto parts that make my F250 the smartest looking truck around.
