I bought this truck from my cousin who had given up on it lol! I made the deal without looking at it first, and when I saw it I realized I had quite a project. But for 250.00 who could resist? I knew lmc truck had the majority of what I would need to restore this truck, so that was the positive lol. The truck originally came from Michigan so road salt had taken its toll. The engine/trans worked great but the body was rusted out bad. Fenders, cab corners, rocker panels, and the bed were a loss. I wanted to custom build this truck for my farming operation so I didn’t mind the bed being a loss, I decided to build my own bed for it along with a custom winch bumper. The interior was about as bad as the exterior, filthy carped, torn seats, cracked dash, saggy headliner, you name it. Im glad lmc offered the vinyl flooring, because its perfect for the conditions we work in, as opposed to carpet. Most people would have probably considered this truck scrap iron like my cousin, but I believe in lmc’s saying “Keep em on the road!”
