I am the third owner of a 1969 C-10 Chevy pickup. The original owner traded the truck back into the dealer he purchased it from new. My Dad bought the truck in 1973 and drove it until he passed away in 1981. I have been driving the truck ever since. I was able to get the truck painted in 2013. It was not a frame off restoration but has done very well at several car shows in the last two years. It has a lot of family history and I am trying to make more by getting my twin Grand Daughters involved in driving it. All members of my family have driven it over the years so it has a lot of sentimental value. In my early years, I worked at the Chevy dealer where the truck was purchased. I still have the original heavy duty bumper with the dealer name stamped on it. It is a work truck but the white bumpers have been replaced with chrome from LMC. The white hubcaps are chrome dog bowels from GM. There numerous replacement parts and will be more from LMC. The most fun is impromptu car shows at the gas pump, supermarket and many other places of business I stop by. Thanks to LMC for helping me keep it running looking good.
