Lowered – 2005 Chevy Silverado

2005 Chevy Silverado

Teddy Britz’s 2005 Chevy Silverado

Teddy bought his lowered 2005 Chevy Silverado in January of 2016. The truck was all stock except for the 5/7 Belltech drop. Teddy had seen it listed on Craigslist and had to have this truck. This Chevy had only 121,000 miles on it and was absolutely rust-free.

Over the past months, Teddy has done a lot to make the truck is own. He has added a cowl induction hood, window visors, chrome tailgate handle, grille and numerous other parts from LMC Truck.

He upgraded the wheels to V line 20 inch with 275/45R20 tires, cam swapped the 5.3L V8, and added long tube headers. Teddy added a cold air intake, a throttle body spacer and three inch exhaust. He also built this 2005 Chevy Silverado’s transmission with a shift kit, Corvette Servo and added a stall converter. Teddy upgraded the stereo to a Kenwood unit and added HID lights to all of the front lighting. The truck also has a custom tune.

He does not plan on ever selling this truck. His next steps are to get a tonneau cover for the bed, an SS Intimidator tailgate wing, LED interior lights and maybe adding a supercharger. Teddy also plans to swap the factory 3:23 limited slip with some 3:73 rear gears.

As of now, Teddy and this 2005 Chevy Silverado are at 138,000 miles.

“By far the best Chevy I’ve ever owned, and I’ve had close to 100 of them.”
