My story begins when I was looking through the classifieds as spotted what appeared to be a rust free 1982 dodge crew cab. After endless emails back and forth with the trucks owner Mike Mori it appeared to be exactly what I was looking for.

I had been looking for quite some time for a rust free dodge crew cab to restore and convert to diesel.

About a week later my wife and I with trailer in tow made the 2800km round trip to Kamloops and brought the truck home.

The restoration began immediately as I had already acquired most of the parts I needed. A year and a half later it was done, finished in July 2012

Since then we have taken it on countless family trips through out western Canada and the northern USA.

The truck is equipped with a mildly warmed over Cummins 12v, 5spd transmission, np 205 transfer case, Dana 60/70 combo, 4″ lift, rear air ride, dual shocks and stabilizers, power and heated leather seats from a 06 F350 Harley edition.
